Previewing LEGACY WRESTLING: DANGEROUS ENCOUNTERS 12/5/2015 Chris LeRusso vs. Tony Deppen – A great way to kick off another amazing card as both men come to Legacy for the first time! What’s a little odd about this match is that neither man is normally a fan favorite, so we get to see which bad guy prevails here. Deppen has caught on quickly, and LeRusso is out to show that he’s not laying down for the new kid. Both guys can flat out wrestle, of course that’s a prerequisite to get booked at Legacy, but this will be a great one as both men are out to prove that they are as legit as they come! Veda Scott vs. Brittany Blake – Yet another match where a vet is out to stop a streaking rookie as Veda comes in from Ring of Honor to take on the fast rising Brittany Blake. Veda has to be careful not to underestimate her smaller opponent because I’ve seen Blake a few times, and she’s the real deal. Veda has been doing very well in the Women of Honor series though and will be very tough to overcome. What’s great about the women of Legacy is that all of them wrestle just as good as any of the men. The ladies are never a step down, or the time to go get a drink. This is match is absolutely certain to deliver. Laszlo Arpad vs. DJ Hyde – Hollywood’s Finest is sick of being under rated, looked past, and not given the respect they deserve. DJ Hyde says legacy gets most of their stars from CZW, and is ready to take on Hollywood’s Finest “enforcer” in Arpad. Two big men with incredible clothesline finishers out to prove something, will make for a hard hitting, physical match! Lio Rush vs. Jonathan Gresham – Rush has been appearing all over the Country as of late, but Gresham isn’t impressed, as he’s been doing that for some time now, and is ready to ground and pound the smaller high flyer. Rush, inspired by WWE signing his long time tag partner in Patrick Clark, seems determined to join him at Full Sail ASAP, but getting through Gresham is going to be a tall order. Richie Nightmare vs. Matt Tremont – Tremont, the current CZW World champion comes to legacy to answer the challenge of Nightmare, who seems to be a paid bodyguard for Hollywood’s Finest. Nightmare also seems to resent his current position, and says he will prove to the world that he’s the real deal by defeating a hardcore icon in a hardcore match! I know Nightmare is a determined guy, but I suspect he’s bit off a little more than he can chew against the Bulldozer! David Starr vs. Matt Riddle –This is going to be unbelievable. Riddle is a former MMA and UFC star. He’s rising quickly through the ranks of pro wrestling with rumors saying that WWE is taking a very serious look at him. Starr, an amazing amateur himself, recently wrestled a 103 minute match that every fan that was in attendance is praising as incredible. Riddle is out to show that he is everything others are saying he is, and Starr, if not too distracted by his former partner refusing to face him in this match, will be an excellent test of those rumors. Too hard to even guess the outcome here, but it’s going to be a strong contender for match of the night. The Wildcardz vs. TJ Mathis & Shawn Morley –With Red Scorpion sidelined with a serious knee injury, the WildCardz are annoyed that they have no one to face for the Legacy tag titles. They made an open challenge to anyone, and Mathis went out and found himself a pretty good partner to answer that challenge in Morley, who of course is the former Val Venis of WWE fame. Mathis is also dedicating this match to a young local boy fighting a major illness. If the Wildcardz wanted competition as they await their shot at the Legacy tag titles, they certainly got it here. This should be a fun, and emotional match up. Eddie Smooth vs. AR Fox – This will be the third time I will see this match up and I could see it 333 more times and never tire of it. Two of the best on the indy scene today and they have a lot of chemistry together. It will be their first meeting at Legacy and their first time fighting over a title, those two things will make it better than the other two match ups without a doubt. Any company not booking Fox is idiotic, he’s one of the best in the world today, and Smooth is absolutely a wrestling prodigy. The ticket price is worth this match alone, and yet you’re getting seven other incredible match ups. Legacy is the KING of indy wrestling in this area, and this match it it’s crown jewel. This match will be so damn good that you’ll be depressed when it’s over wishing the next Legacy card were closer than it’s going to be. Every show you see after this one will be a little less special as well. The only reason not to come to this show, is that it will make you hate all the the other shows you go to, or at least lose some appreciation for them.
